The World Boardgaming Championship 2004

The BPA will be sponsoring The World Boardgaming Championship 2004, a boardgame extravaganza, from Aug 3 thru Aug 8 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Baltimore, MD. Come prove you truely are the best of the best, or just to have fun. For more information, see the WBC website. There is a fee to attend.

DragonCon 2004

Dragon*Con is America's largest, multi-media, popular arts convention. focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film.
For 2004, our host hotels will again include both the familiar Hyatt Regency Atlanta (most events, panels, activities and gaming) and the Atlanta Marriott Marquis (dealers' and exhibitors' halls, some programming, and our art show), located across the street and connected, if need be, via elevated enclosed skywalks.

A European Style Gaming Convention.
Planned tournaments including: Carcassone, El Grande, Euphrat and Tigris, LiCitta, Lost Cities, Medici, Princes of Florence, Puerto Rico, Ra, Settlers of Catan, Taj Majal, Tikal, Trans America, Traumfabrik, and Union Pacific.
Open gaming with points counting towards awards and featuring the hottest new game from Europe. Awards will be given for each event, best team play and best overall individual play.
